Can you turn the wifi off and use it as a hardware firewall inbetween NAT and the modulator?

Appreciate the info regarding the set up. Definitely would like to try it, but would've appreciated if the review focused a little on it's antivirus capabilities and if it does what it says it does. This review seems to be too focused on set up and performance alone.
