Bitdefender total security

I'am going to get bitdefender total security, i want to know if it removes all infected types(Malware,Virus,spyware,Trojan,worm...etc) or should i get another program for security!

The 2014 edition intercepted a creditable 97% of real-world threats.

Alternative Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 if a can recommend.
