Hello there Tom's forum, i'm well..Tom 😀

Basically i'm downsizing my X79 ATX board in an NZXT phantom chassis running an i7 3930k to a BitFenix Prodigy M and a shiney Asus IV Gene M-atx board. However I need an ODD, something which can't be sacrificed but I'm also wanting to keep my 240mm H100i as well, however these two can't be ran together. I could just go and buy a 140mm AIO cooler but wheres the fun in that? So heres my question, would it be possible to remove the Rad and tubing and attach 2x 120mm rads onto the h100i pump cpu block, well I know its possible, but would it have the same / similar cooling power? I'm custom sleeving my psu etc for this build too, putting a bit of effort into it for my work station. (I'm a CGI artist) The only reason i'm down sizing is i'm on the move a lot and lugging a full tower is a lot of work! I've heard that A krakn x40 does get similar performance to a h100i but i want to do something a bit different in this insance. i could mount it on the bottom but I need my 2x 2tb HDD's on the bottom and then a SSD on the plate around the side!

Warm regards,
Tom

Im not too sure on what you are trying to do but I assume you want to expand your loop, by removing the tubing, rearranging radiators and looping it all back up with the 100i water-block?

I answered because I didnt want you to feel as you have been snubbed, I help others out when I can but nobody is interested in my problems.

Thankyou ^-^ Essentially yes, I want to take out the 240mm radiator and fit two 120mm raditors in its place (One on top and one on the back of the case) which would allow me to then install my disk drive and all my hard drives, And, as you said, hook it all back up to the waterblock, Although it won't be going through any more radiators, would the extra distance through the pipes have any serious affect on the pump?

Interesting question, the pump I would assume can handle it as it has settings where it can pump slower for noise? im not too sure. I think the largest issue is standardization, getting tubes and fittings to reconfigure the system will be difficult. I dont have a all in one liquid cooler so I dont know the dimensions. I know as much as you, go on liquid cooling websites and see parts.

Overall I would say no, it cant be done because these are closed loops with unique tubing. The tubing is not connected via compression fittings e.g. There would be no way to reattach the tubes properly.
