Bitfenix prodigy build what GPU and CPU cooler should i go for.

I plan on building a system to take to lan gaming sessions etc, but iam not sure what GPU and cooler i should buy.
I would like the system to look nice also. this is what i have so far.

Case- BitFenix Prodigy Mini-ITX Case Black
PSU- Antec High Current Gamer 620W Power Supply HCG-620
Mobo- AsRock Z97M-ITX/AC Mini-ITX Motherboard
CPU- Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition G3258

GPU- Unknown. maybe (EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Classified ACX 4GB - $379)

you should wait for the gtx960 at this point... the gtx770 now has a horrible price to performance ratio.

why are you trying to water cool? the air coolers on gpus are fine unless you get a classified gtx1000ti.

Yeah i plan on Upgrading the CPU to an i5 in the future and using this one in a media pc in my lounge. i should have mentioned that.

i have seen two 200mm square radiators stuffed into a bitfenix, but you need to do some modifying, need thin fans, and lots of planning and $$$. otherwise an h60 for the cpu and a kraken g10 with an h60 for the gpu would be the easiest route. i think 120mm aio's will fit right into the lower front and top back of the prodigy.

Yeah i was wondering about the 960 i was tempted to get a 970 but where i live the lowest is $519 I
I just want to cool the CPU at the moment and in the future maybe the GPU, Depending on how well my custom loop turns out in my enthoo primo.
Also the AIO in question is not my first pick they are pretty cheap here and i have peaked my interest with the clear tubing.

I have been turned off AMD recently because of the amount of heat they put out. But i literally live right around the corner from PCCG and don't have to pay shipping. so that could be a good option.
Better geting a 970 over the 290x i think they are priced pretty close.

I might just use one of the 7790s from my mums computer until the 960 is released. (Yeah my mum has a crossfire setup).

Yeah you can do that too(if your mum doesn't mind. Candy crush doesn't need X-fired 7790's anyway<no offence!>). 7790 can play games on 1080p on tweaked medium settings. So you will be good till that 960 comes out.

Neither does it need an overclocked i5 on water XD
its my old computer i gave it to her.
I mostly use it for lan when friends come over but its a full tower so i cant move it around.

If you still have the i5 stock heatsink then put it on the i5, underclock it(so that it doesn't heat up too much) and take the watercooler for this build.

for gaming, a 3.3ghz i5 provides 97% the fps as a 4.5ghz i5. for all that equipment, heat, and vcore, i simply find it not worth the extra energy to squeeze an extra 0.2-0.4ghz out of a processor. i feel a 4690k@4.2ghz is plenty fast and a simple lower profile light weight noctua air cooler should manage that nicely. with the saved cash you can move up to a higher tier gpu like the 970 and maybe throw in two nice 120mm noctua case fans front and rear for a drop in a few more C.

I use the other pc when people come over.
I did the math if i get a 970 this week then next week i can get an i5 and start building the media pc for the lounge as well. Just means i will have to drag my enthoo to my mates house on the weekend. its not light.

true running air would be ideal especially since it will be getting moved.
Im just thinking of the top fan mounts it seems such a waste to just put fans in there and not a rad..

i think a 240 rad would serve a gpu much better. though really the only gpu you should be water blocking would be a classified or a lightning. at this point though waiting for gm210(gtx1000) would be best if you were going that route.
