BitFenix Prodigy build

Hi, I'm building a gaming computer and since I'm moving it around to friends and LAN parties quite a bit I want the BitFenix Prodigy M as my case. My budget is around $1200 and I would like a quiet and stable build which will give me the best bang for the buck. I don't plan on overclocking or using SLI so leave that out but I want a decent GPU (maybe the 970?). Also what are good cooling options for it? I don't want it to overheat when I do long gaming sessions.

Is there any difference on 4690 and 4690k except overclock option? If I'm not overclocking do I really need a CPU cooler?

Nope overclocking is pretty much it. And stock cooler would do fine for a 4690.

Yes,ability to OC the 4690K is the only difference.
And yes,the stock cooler will be fine,but it'll get loud and hot in his case when playing games.That's why I chose the Noctua NH-L9i.Cheap,quiet and cools really well.

If you actually felt the handles on the prodigy you would NOT want it for portability at all. They are uber flimsy. Not to mention, it's not a very compact case by any standard, in fact, it displaces nearly as much space as some ATX mid towers.

The build above is seriously 1/4th the size of a prodigy build and has a real handle!

Consider installing something like a SilverStone AR06 heatsink and reversing the fan to work in tandem with the PSU's fan.
