Hey all,

I am confused about how to tell whether a fan is an exhaust fan or a fan which draws air in.

I am building a BitFenix Prodigy ITX, and would like a good 200mm fan for the front to draw air in. I have found this fan:http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FG-034-BX&groupid=701&catid=2331&subcat=2335

But i am unsure whether or not it can be used to draw air in!

Feel free to suggest other fans, but please answer the first question too! :)

Thank you kind people!

I'm trying to answer this one delicately, but its a little hard to.
If you flip a fan over, the air goes the other way, so any fan can be used for intake or exhaust.

Having said that, some fans do have specific design elements for certain tasks, the Corsair AF/SP ranges being a good example.

In general though, you just point the fan in the direction you want it to blow.

As for the fan itself, it's pretty decent, I use a black one in one of my Prodigys. As I mentioned in your other thread, I picked it over the 230mm because it's 5mm shallower and has fairly similar airflow. A 200mm fan is also far more reusable somewhere down the line too.
