Bitfenix Whisper M 750W VS Seasonic m12ii 750w evo

The Whisper M is the better unit, has a better design and japanese caps over the M12II, no question in my mind that it's miles better. :)
What system are you trying to run?
750w is good for SLI, but for any other single card setup 550w will be the most you'll ever need.
Specs?
Budget?
Retailers?

right now i will get gtx 1070 but i want a 750w for any future upgrade
i5 7600k
msi z270 gamin m5

As I asked, what is the budget for your overall rig and what retailers are you using?
Do you need monitor or any peripherals included?
I can get you a much better performing list even just based off that, an i7 7700 will perform much better especially given games are moving towards higher thread utilization, and it's 4.4GHz boost speeds. Getting a 7700 and B250 board will also generally cost less than a 7600k Z series setup as well.

I've seen JonnyGuru and have great respect for his site and what he does. But even JonnyGuru doesn't have All available PSUs listed, So until I find something better, I will continue to use the list as a single point of reference.

Give the unit a google, generally you'll find quite a bit of info about it.
I'm saying learn about the makings of a PSU and different components etc. from threads so you can understand the gibberish that gets listed alongside a unit when it is released, and make an assessment on it.

I don't have a problem with what you are saying about learning the ins and outs of a PSU in order to make an informed decision. But for a quick reference to the relative quality of a significant number of PSUs, I haven't found a list that is any better than the tier list. So until the list is proven to be inaccurate or just wrong, it will be the first place I'll check. Also, I try not to recommend a specific brand, I will link to the tier list and then suggest a specific tier rather than a brand, that lets the OP make his/her own decision.

I agree with what you are saying.in that the customer should do his own research. But we both know that the customer doesn't do their own research, or there wouldn't be as many "Check my build", "What (PSU, GPU, CPU, ram) should I buy", "Is my build compatible", or "Will it fit?" threads created ;). As long as "research" means "Ask at Tom's" I will continue to make recommendations based on easily documented (and found!) sources I don't want to spend the time to do all the Google searches that the customer won't do for themselves.
