Bitlocker not turned on in Windows 11 Home??

HI All

I finally got around to updating my windows 10 home to windows 11 home. Im surprised to find that bitlocker is turned off. When i clicked on it a microsoft window popped up and it wanted me to upgrade to windows 11 pro for 99 bucks which comes with bitlocker already enabled. I know that bitlocker was turned on in my original windows 10. Is there a way to used windows administrator and go in and enable it myself?
