Bitlocker recovery key

Forgot password on Insignia tablet and it was locked up Used cmd to and the keykey but instead of all numbers the result showed alphanumeric combination and the keyboard only allows numbers. what command should I use to get the bitlocker recovery key numbers?

This is to correct error in my last post. 2nd sentence should read "Used command prompt to get key and got an alphanumeric combination and the input keyboard shown only allows numbers.

If getting around a forgotten BitLocker recovery key was that easy, BitLocker wouldn't be much good, would it?
