We are using a networked Windows 2000 server with current updates. Within the
last 5 calendar days the network icons (monitors in the system tray) are
showing continuous usage, yet this server is very isolated and there are no
users logged on. IE browser will not log on to several sites, ie: Microsoft,
Symantec, etc., but will access other home pages without a problem. Have
tested these sites on another PC without a problem. Have run every available
anti-virus, adware and security tool we can think of without success. We are
thinking a worm, virus, malware, etc., but can't find any. Have re-booted
several times this week while installing scanners.

Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

Somebody got that server. Look in "HOSTS" file for clues to the "no
access" issue. Run your scans in safe mode to eradicate the pest.
