Hi everyone long time reader first post here,

My specs are :
gigabyte 970ad3 mobo
gigabyte hd7850 windforce 2
samsung 1tb HDD
4gb adata 1333mhz ram
500w thermaltek PSU
FX8350

Ive had my comp for about 2 years now as is,lost a RAM stick but no other problems. For a while i ran 4.3ghz OC on stock cooler but had no issues till about a few months ago.I tried opening one or both the panels and a week ago added a tabletop fan on top of turning of 2 cores and detuning to 3.8ghz and even dropping the voltages. ,only way i can stay stable. Never had issues till recently when i get the black screen randomly

Its rare under load, randomly goes black and wont respond to ctrl+alt+dlt .needs hard shutdown.I chcked my temps seem between 25-35 at desktop use but goes to 50+ when playing games like ryse or warface.Under prime95 the temp reaches shutdown in less than 10 mins, i bought an aftermarket deep flow cooltwin200 it helped some i can run 8 cores now but any stress test still climbs, though slower than with the stock cooler. I noticed that no mater how i set my voltages at the BIOS(set to 1.332) it goes up to 1.4 is this normal?

This is with the new cooler after about 10 mins of prime95, Im at wits end here detuning and turning cores of seems make lil difference in heat even with the new cooler.Could this possibly be due to my mobo? (climb up to same temps at 8 and 6 core even reached 4.2-4 for one or twice).

Sorry for the massive post, Im wondering if this could be a problem with the motherboard? Either way my heads empty appreciate any advice

Thanks for the quick response, i have litrely bought the new cooler today. It came with some paste with it.Other than re aplying paste when i can buy some is/are there any other issues that could cause this. The mobo maybe? its still under warrenty lol

If there are I'm not familiar with them, but I recommend applying the new paste as soon as you can, if and when you do, tell me how it goes :)
