black bars when running csgo

how can i remove black bars when running it on 1024X764 4:3.. i have a HP pavilion dv7 notebook pc.

In steam settings, add -stretchaspect or -nofbo in your game launch options.

If your GPU is sending an analog signal to the screen you will not be able to do so.

What GPU do you have ?
If it is Nvidia, open the control centre and under display select adjust desktop size and postion, over there choose the resolution and make sure you select Full screen. That should do it, if you are using AMD, you can find it in the Catalyst control center under display scaling
