black borders on screen?

I just purchased a Samsung BX2331 LED Monitor. Hooked it up to my PC running an GTX 660 Twin Frozr with newest drivers. I get a picture but the monitor displays 1/2 inch black borders on top and bottom and 1 inch borders on left and right. The resolution is set to max 1920x1080.

Anyone know what the problem is and why I can't get the screen on the full monitor?

go to your drivers and enable overscan. some monitors always have it underscaning, so just slide the slider until the whole screens is filled.
