Question Black dot on monitor

Hello all. As the title suggests, there is a random black pixel with a "shadow" around it that has popped up on my monitor. This has happened before, but has fixed itself later on. The thing is, it isn't on the monitor, it's more like it's part of my desktop, since I can take screenshots of it. Is there any solution to this?
