Should I buy on black friday or should I wait till Feburary? I am currently out of country to actually take advantage of using these parts till Feburary however I will be buying a top of the line ryzen or intel 1080 ti build. I know Ryzen "Refresh" might be coming out Q1 of 2018 along with volta some time later in the year yet we havnt heard much about that.
Do you suggest I
A: wait for both new releases
B: wait for cpu purchase and get the 1080ti or
C: just buy both now because performace increases will be marginal.
I just got an awesome deal on a ASUS ROG 1440p monitor 144hz 27inch IPS so I'm trying to maximize the frame rate on it. I know the 1080 ti doesnt hit 144 fps ultra at 1440p for some games (perhaps someone can link me a good benchmark of 1080ti 1440p normal vs ultra settings comparisons)
