Black Ink Not Printing

i want to print using black ink only even though cartridge of colored ink was empty and i did not pull out from the printers.

Depending on your printer, you can set it to print using only black ink (thru the Printing Preferences menu, or something like that).

Nevertheless, most printers will prompt you to replace the color cartridge and will not work until you do just that.
