Black Ink Not Printing

I have a Canon S530D printer. Suddenly, it stopped printing any black ink; the other colors work perfectly. Some things I already tried:
■ Replaced the cartridge
■ Cleaning (and deep cleaning)
■ Soaking the print head in both water and alcohol
Is there anything else I should try or any ideas as to what might have happened? For something like this, I would usually blame the print head, but nothing appears broken...

Try uninstalling the printer from your PC and then reinstalling it to rule out anything software related. If it still continues, chances are that it is a print head issue.

Thanks for the reply, but driver reinstall didn't help.

purge pump may be blocked or not working for some reason. print head could be blocked.
