Black not printing

Hello, my hp 290 printer is not printing black after installing new black cartridge

Any errors on the printer? Is it an OEM or a refurb or a refill? If one of the latter two, replace them. Try running a cleaning cycle see if that clears it.

Using OEM cartridges, 2 different new ones. Cleaning did not help

It's dead then. If it's warranty, good, if not, inkjets are pretty much disposable once they break, all the cost is in the ink unless you get a model with tons of fancy features like an LCD screen.

after not using for a week, it somehow came back to life. All is well
