Black Ops 2 Disconnects at Random Times

This is getting extremely frustrating, and at this point, I don't even want to play this game anymore if I'm inevitably going to disconnect. I've tried to look everywhere for a solution to this, and an activision rep thinks I need to update my graphics card... (Specs below) I doubt my graphics card has anything to do with these server issues, and I can run any other game just fine. My connection is not the problem, it only happens with this game.

The following quote taken from a random steam discussion peaks my interest:

"Here's the problem. Steam has an auto time out for some reason, it will then try to syncronize and reconnect as soon as possible. This is usually what happens duing the server disconnects. Steam times out and reconnects, allowing for that 1 or 2 seconds of offline status.

Now the real problem is that Treyarch thought they could use steam as their online verification checker (DRM) to counter piracy. Obviously they didn't take into account steam's timeout events. Everytime we play a game now and steam decides to cut out, the game detects that you are offline and disconnects your from the servers.

This is why he blames steam. In reality, yes we need to blame treyarch for their stupid choices but then again steam is also part of the problem here."

Any elaboration of what was mentioned there might be useful.

I've tried forwarding all ports given to me by an online rep, I've tried disabling port-forwarding and trying UPnP, I've tried disabling all startup and background applications, re-installing, verifying game cache, power cycling both my computer and router, updating and re-installing graphics and other drivers, changing my NAT, re-installing steam, everything. I've tried everything. I'm getting desperate at this point.

PC Specs:
- Intel i3-2120 3.30Ghz
- 8GB Ram
- Windows 7 64-bit
- AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB Overclocked-Edition

Please only reply if you can contribute a solution, replying with "I have the same problem" won't help anyone. Thanks in advance. Posting this on any forum I can, will edit this post with a solution if it works.

I also re-installed my OS, and the problem hasn't been fixed. I've lost all hope at this point since this doesn't work even after re-installing the OS.

Ugh, I accidentally clicked the button to make that post the "best solution" and I guess I can't take it back. I'll just make another thread.

And what do you mean by my right location?
