Hi, I have really really slow load times in black ops 2 and I was wondering if it was because of my 5400rpm HDD? What other reasons could it be because in game I run on max at 60 fps steady. When I enter a game, one flag is always captured, and I either join okay or get booted because of the connection interrupted notice.

most probably the hdd. it will be even worse if you have multiple partitions. as each 1 reduces the drives performance by 10%.
if you only have sata 2 then the best hdd to get at 1 TB is the spinpoint f3
if you have sata 3 then there are loads that will work just as well.

I am having the same loading problem i doubt it's my hard drive since i have an SSD
I have a good processor and pretty good graphics card and i have enough RAM and i am still loading slow. I can have steady 60-70 fps with all max

Hmm... That's interesting. My other games haven't been giving me any problems which is confusing to me. I also get connection interrupted every now and then and I got kicked for connection when I have great Internet and run on 4 bars always. Thanks for the feedback guys!

4 bars? as in xbox... 4 bars means nothing mate it just means you have a low ping.
on pc we deal in specifics like ping and ms response times.
if your ping is bouncing you will get fps lag. if you have some1 connected to you with a high ping they can cause every 1 to lag... theres lots of reasons why consoles allow such high latencies and the host gets such an advantage... connect every 1 to a dedicated server and most of the host issues go away
but if the server is over subscribed and skimping on bandwidth then it can be just as bad as player based hosting...
so no m8 4 bars means nothing... connect a lappy and run a speed test a few days apart for a few weeks and you will see what time of day your connection is most stable and when its not.
i can almpost guarentee that between 4pm and 9pm you connection speed will be roughly half what it should be. but also bounce up and down each time you test it.
again this will effect your game even if you have 4 bars.

call of duty black opps uses the same streaming tech that was used in cod 4 and is showing its age. it can still have issues streaming of an ssd especially if its a low end 60-80gig 1 they can barely match a decent raid 0 setup as far as speed goes...
my samsungs will give 250MBps on a good day. which is easily as good as the cheaper ssd's so dont dismiss it just because you have an ssd. after all it may not be working as well as it should...

My SSD is a 120gb and i never get disconnected and my

So you can see my computer can easily run the game can't find out what's the problem each time i join a game like 15secs are finished of it
while my friend gets in instantly.

Most likely internet connection then.

But I don't know, COD isn't really very heavy on good internet connection. I have meh internet connection and always play with one other, usually brother, on same network and my maps load right up, loading screen shows for at most two seconds, usually around one. But that might be because of my i7 thats OCed to 4.5 is just retarded fast to load the maps so it really only has to wait on internet.

I even had a internet problem a while back where my ISP accidentally (small local ISP) blocked a whole bunch of ports on the network, XBox live didn't work, couldn't download from certain places, BF3 didn't work, COD4 did't work. And despite all the gaming ports being blocked, MW3 still worked perfectly lol. Despite how much I dislike that specific COD I gotta hand it to Infinity Ward for their networking work in MW3, I have never once seen lag or been disconected or bad connection or anything.

Sorry I ranted a little there lol, but yeah might wanna check your ping. Reset router maybe?

True i have yet to overclock my processor to 4.5 need a better cooling system.

Since i live in Iceland my connection is not the best i normally have 3 out of 4 bars.

My friend who gets in instantly has a worse computer than me but a lot better internet connection.

So it's probably the internet connection
