Black ops 3 extra settings issues?

I have a R9 295x2 and can play on the games default settings with render res at 100% 1920x1080 with zero problems with both dual gpu in use or one gpu disabled, as soon as I turn on extra textures or shadows or anything else higher than high/default, I stutter, get fps drops to 80 from 167 or even at times freezing or going down to as low as 8 fps, any fixes or is extra settings just bugged rn, I have been told on the steam forums that extra settings is trying to use 10gb of vram.

I highly doubt that BO3 will use much more than 2gb VRAM at any given time. No matter what settings/resolution.
It's just bad optimization. Just keep your settings until it get's fixed with patches. Nothing you can do about it. 😛
