[SOLVED] Black Ops 4 40-70 fps with 1060 6gb???????

Solution
I think the only way to help this problem would be to eliminate as many background processes as you possibly can before you play as you unfortunately do not have an overclock-able CPU.

Other than that you will have to upgrade your CPU if it is bothering you that much.

https://gyazo.com/4c24839b138e0fc071b3c650042137c1 If there is some other screenshot i can do just tell me how and ill get back ASAP

Iv been playing on low settings now and the FPS can change when im in certain areas of the black out map
As im falling i can go to 20-60 fps
While im on the ground 50-100 fps
but it will mainly stay at 40-70

Please download msi afterburner and go into the settings, there should be somewhere that will allow you to monitor your cpu and gpu usage.

Let us know your findings and then we can have a better look at this. I am suspecting that you are being cpu bottlenecked as I have seen on some other places online that it is quite taxing on the CPU.

I doubt it's a CPU bottleneck, here are some benchmarks with a very similar config

Hmm you may be right, however do you think there would be more stress on the CPU with him playing in an game on the battle royale mode with all of the people running around and on a bigger map, than in just a smaller multiplayer map? Just a thought it might not make a difference though.

I doubt the difference would be enough to drop the FPS to the extent described, especially at low settings. Not to mention they didn't even specify if this was the battle royale mode.

Yeah maybe I don't know just throwing some ideas out there. He mentioned about his fps 'as im falling' which I think he is speaking about when he is falling to the ground at the start of a battle royale game.

He said that his fps doesn't get any better when dropping the graphical settings which to me would imply that it isn't the graphics card holding him back.

Maybe he could play in a multiplayer game instead of battle royale and see if his fps improves?

In the multiplayer i can get 60-100 fps on all LOW settings
Royale i get as iv been describing
Zombies i get 60-100 again

https://gyazo.com/3cf2b488c1699411cfae9ad992816ada that is my CPU i think it might be that

Bingo. Thought so. Its because the battle royale has a lot more players and it is a bigger map so there is a lot more of a load on the CPU.

Dam so i have to get a new CPU to play blackout
But im guessing it loads out on multiplayer aswell but not as often some maps are lower and im guessing because the CPU is at 100% it sort of twitchs my screen making aiming/ moving my mouse around fast look terrible? dont think i can overlock this CPU either

I didn't read all of previous answers, but i think your cpu is bottleneck. 6600 is having hard time to run ACO. Just imagine playing battle royal with many players on the map. Your gpu is fine, as ram.

Ah allways time to upgrade
The funny thing is iv just reinstalled my PC and the other games i have on are WoW and Blackops 4
Nothing is running in the background no random software or anything
Battle.net and the game im playing and maybe Chrome if i got youtube up#
Think the CPU might be Buggered/old?

Sorry mate I meant to link something in that last reply but I was on a call and didn't realise that I didn't link to my recommendation, the i5 8600k would be a great choice which will allow you to keep your current motherboard. Check on pcpartpicker for the best price.

i might be able to sell my MOBO and CPU to a friend
If i was to sell the MOBO would you still recommend the i5 8600k?
My budget would be roughly 400 Pounds on both

Stick with the same mobo and buy the i5 8600 or buy a new MOBO and a new CPU
