Black ops fps lagg

Hello,
I have some annoying lagg spikes/chops while playing black ops.
Its weird because I have 50-70 fps and a low ping
ive already done all the things I could so thats why im asking here
my specs are:
Ati Radeon HD 7450
i5 3.00Ghz Quad core
8GB Ram

i have had that problem, its the game/driver problem, update your graphics card drivers and update you game with latest patch, that will fix the problem.
you might also chk running background programs and close them, try to disable AV.

It will lag on Multiplayer Online because you have a weak card.

I have a HD6850 and it's fine for multiplayer Black Ops (if I do get lag it's usually because I'm playing an overseas server and my country has *** internet)

I agree with RyQril, try disabling any background running programs. Apparently defragging your HDD also seems to help when it comes to games like Black Ops (so I've heard, could be totally wrong)

I never lag in black ops, the only time is when my router decides to drop the line...

32ms ping at UK servers, and 50ms at german/france ect.

There are work arounds...

I could make a custom .CFG file for your setup if you wish?

What resolution do you play at?

1280x1024

Ok, config changes:

No depth of field (huge speed increase on lower end cards)
Textures at normal
No AF
FPS capped to 80fps for less dips and stuttering.
Multi-core rendering support.
