so i just purchased all the parts for my next PC build in late December which included a brand new monitor.
the monitor is an Asus vn247
however i randomly see these little black squares/blotches on my desktop(not while gaming at all). for example i might be surfing the web and scrolling the mouse wheel through a forum and it will start these black lines /pixels that wont go away until i move my window around. it's never really in the same exact spot either just randomly on the screen normally in the internet browser window when im browsing the web. It has not happened during anything else other than browsing the web.
The PC is virus/spyware malware free without any known issues as the computer is also brand new with the monitor (4 months-ish old)
today also randomly my monitor went all white screen with horizontal lines evenly spaced out down the entire monitor. as far as i know the PC did not crash(no bsod or message on reboot) the monitor did not mention that i lost video signal either and i could still continue talking on skype since i was in the middle of a call. i restarted PC and everything was normal.
I ran a few games and the PC behaved perfectly normal as well, while monitoring CPU and GPU temps, both perfectly fine.
The white screen incident also happened while surfing the web and talking on skype. none of these issues have ever happened at all during any kind of game.
PC also has up to date bios for motherboard, all updated drivers as well (drivers haven't changed recently to cause incident) though the pixel issue has been here since day 1.
