I accidentally hit my monitor with my phone and now I have some defect (I guess) pixels that are either black or purple. There's no actual crack or something like that on my screen. I was wondering if it's possible to fix that problem without having to buy a new monitor. Would be great if you could help me out.
(Gently applying pressure will make the non-functional area even bigger. I also just found out that you can't see the pixels that are not working on a screenshot.)

Solution
A commanded screenshot command will not produce the faulty pixels.
If you hit the monitor and it produced these faults, then time to get a new monitor or just suffer the pixel damage.
I don't think it's cost effective to repair a monitor unless you can get another spare for a lower price than repair acosts and conduct the work yourself in replacing the entire screen.
Generally speaking, all other parts of your monitor are salvageable.
