Question Black screen after adding a certain ram module

Hi, so my problem is that my pc turns on but the screen stays black after installing a certain 2GB stick.
This module is part of the 2x2GB kit that I've had since 2011. It didn't cause any problems until now.
Memory banks seem to be ok, I've checked them with 3 different modules, I've also cleared CMOS with jumpers, removed battery for 5 minutes, swapped sticks between banks. Nothing worked.
BIOS can't be updated because there aren't any other versions except the first release.
The funny thing is this 'defective' module is working fine on my different motherboard (Z68AP-D3).
So if it isn't motherboard nor the stick then what may be wrong?

Have you tried using just one stick at a time to see if you get the monitor to come on?

Yep, non-faulty 2GB stick works in slot 1 and 2, I've also tried two 4GB sticks, and they work in all configurations.
