We were connecting a printer with an American plug into a European outlet through an adapter (we've been doing this for a long time) and then part of the fuses in our house blew/turned off or how you call it. This is when the problems with the pc started. When we booted up the pc again the screen was strangely stretched and I couldn't fix it. The next day the screen was blinking and now when we tried to turn on the pc there is only a black screen. I can't even acces the BIOS. The monitor is fine. I've tried to run the pc on 2 different monitors. I can here the hard drive but there's just no screen. Could it be that electricity damaged some internal components in the pc? I also remember that the usb port that the printer was connected into didn't work after the fuses blew. Pc is Dell Inspiron Zino HD with windows 7. Is the adapter faulty? Is there a way to fix it? Thanks in advance.
