Black screen after instaling new cpu

Hi guys

Im having some problems with my pc after installing new Cpu fx 8350 black edition. I upgraded from fx 6300. After i properly installed fx 8350 and plugged everything back in, after i start up my computer i get a black screen which is wierd since as far as i know you get black screen when your gpu is not working correctly. I double checked everything up and every thing was plugged in the way it was before. My pc spec is :

Gpu r9 270 2gb powercolor
8 gb of ddr3 ram
Mobo msi 970 gaming, (msi ms-7693)
500w psu
And cpu fx 8350

Now one more issue is i cant check if its gpu acting around or cpu, i gifted my old cpu to a friend so i cant really check if its gpu problem, tho gpu worked more then fine up untill i replaced my cpu today...

If you guys have any ideas please let me know, this is driving me crezy and i am super scared for my gpu...

Try resetting your CMOS and then try booting again.

First reset CMOS if that dont work check the CPU for bent pins.

An update, my mobo died....
Seems like my psu killed mobo...
Feels bad..

How do you know your motherboard died?

It stoped responding at all. Nothing was working. Took it to a service and after some time they called me and said that my psu killed my mobo (before taking it to a service i switched between 2 chifteck psu cause i've read somewhere that it could be that my current psu is not strong enough ( 500w cobra psu bronze) so i tried it with chifteck 650w silver and i got the same result (no signal on my pc) and after few tries with 650w psu it just stoped responding)... Sad times. Leason learnd, im stupid and i managed to screw my pc before properly informing myself...
