Hello guys,
So I got myself a new gpu.
It is the r9 380. But, I can't get it to work properly. Every time I login to my account, or any other account, the pc crahses to a black screen. Sometimes the pc won't even boot up. The same problem occured with all my other gpus, but it stopped after installing windows 10.
But now it's back
My current specs are:
CPU: intel i5 4460 3.2 GHz
PSU: corsair VX550W
MoBo: H97M-E
GPU: R9 380

Can you give a little more background on the performance history of your PC, like when was the last time it ran fine until the time it began being poor, any detail will help further.

So the problem stopped after Win10 was installed then eventually came back.

What gave you the impression it was the gpu giving a black screen? Sounds to me it could be the monitor or cable being flaky. Check those out, especially the cable. You've gone through how many gpus? and they've all done the same. i would have stopped at 2nd gpu and looked elsewhere. Possibly even the hdd and also memory also.

Also try the gpu in another slot if problems persist (i wouldn't want it to be because its an ass getting it out) but could be the motherboard.
