Hey guys. So I got a GPU from my friend. It's an EVGA GTX 550 ti. So I disable my onboard graphics, turn off my computer, install the GPU, and turn on my computer. All the fans on the computer turn on and I hear a beep, but my screen stays black. I turn off the computer, take out the GPU, and turn on the computer. It turns on. I don't know what to do so any help is appreciated. Thanks!

have to clear the cmos to get the onboard video to turn back on. once it on see if there any bios updates for your mb. leave the onboard video on put the gpu in. if the gpu is working you should have video out from both ports. if there a bios issue the mb may not post. post up your hardware info ....power supply and mb info.

My mobo is a Asus P5G41T-M. My cpu is a Intel Pentium E5700. When I have the onboard graphics installed it still doesn't show anything. I can't find and changes in my BIOS. I can't acces my BIOS when the GPU is connected.
