[SOLVED] Black Screen after login for Windows 10

So this all started when i noticed a game I had downloaded to my PC already (specifically onto my SSD) said it was not installed. I figured this may be a bug on the application itself and decided to restart my computer. However when it booted back up to the login screen for windows 10, after logging in I would only get a black screen with my mouse cursor. Sometimes my startup program for my graphics card (pretty sure i have an NVIDIA GTX 1070 will appear as well linked here: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-GeForce-Strix-Graphic-STRIX-GTX1070-O8G-GAMING/dp/B01HDUVJ1I ). I haven’t been able to get anything working and I really need this computer for my online classes so help is greatly appreciated!!

If you press ctrl+alt+del does the menu come up?
If so press task manager and press new task. Then enter explorer.exe

I already tried doing that when I watched a video on youtube, im not sure what was supposed to happen but I hit enter and restarted my PC and still had the same problem

Reinstall Windows. Click on the drive everything will get put in a folder called Windows.old in the C:\ drive(if you choose custom then the drive with windows)
