Iv been having this issue for a while now where i would play a game and after a while of playing, the audio would go crazy then go back to normal and i could everything worked but my screen would go black and my gpu fans would go into over drive. at the time i tested with MSI afterbuner to moniter the gpu and cpu and temps never went higher then 70c. O thought it was related to a faulty nvidia driver so I whent ahead and removed it with DDU and updated to a newer driver and thought I fixed it as there were no crashes afterwords. But just recently its started happpening again. I then thought it might be related to a program called special K, So i tried running the game and only teh game and same thing happend after about 30 minutes of playtime. .im lost as to what is causing it as it seems to only happen with some games and not all.. the ones its happend to in the past where witcher 3/dying light and pillars of eternity 2. Jus to name a few where it does not happen. Doom Eternal, Resident evil 2 Destiny 2 darksouls 3. I have played these games for hours on end without a single crash.
The recent crash that happend was when playing Dying light. I checked windows events and I find these entries around the time when it happend. There is quite a few. i think the kernal ones are related to having to hold the power button down to shut of the system. but im not sure about the others.. maybe someone knows more and can help figure out what is causing this so i can fix the issue.
