Black screen after shut down command

I give command in w10 to shut down all goes well display turn off. But the PC stays on for about 30 seconds within those 30 seconds I can hear the CPU fan decrease and increase in speeds, then the PC proceeds to turn off ports and then complete shut down. When I start up my computer, it turns on fine very quick thanks to my SSD. My motherboard is a 370z gaming 7 Aorus. Just wondering if this was normal. Thanks.

Do you have Fast Startup in Windows turned on ? In that case it saves all the work before shutting down and that can take some time.
Try running this command: %windir%\System32\shutdown.exe -s -f -t 00
