Black screen after start up win7/hdmi/tv

Hi I'm having issues trying to use my a-10 5700 cpu with Radeon hd graphics... I was originally using my GeForce Nvidia 9500 gt 512mb but it isn't DirectX11 compatible so I took it out, and plugged the hdmi cord directly into the mobo. I know it's just an on board but it dont be much will see than this ancient thing... anyway it booted up to the desktop just fine but I needed to update the drivers. When I did and restarted the computer it was black after start up. Like it shows the loading screen ans stuff... the tv has a sleep timer if it's not getting a signal but it's staying on... what I think it may be is the nvidia drivers conflicting with the amd drivers... but when I took the hdd out and plugged it in another pc and removed the Nvidia folder it still remained black after start up. What should my next move be?

Also when I run for in safe mode it loads all the way to CLASSPNP.SYS then says please wait beneath it but doesn't do anything. Also on disk chkdsk on reboot stops 54 percent on stage 2 while it was processing 710957 of 1037404 index intries
