Black Screen after Windows Logo

I get a black screen after the Windows logo appears. It's a black screen in safe mode as well and any of the other options on the safe mode page. I am able to get to the task manager and log onto the internet from there, but have no start button. I've searched for Explorer, but it can't be found. I'm willing to try anything at this point.

Black screen in all modes, but still able to get to the task manager in all modes.
