Black Screen after windows logo

I just got a graphics card but when I installed it and booted my pc, the screen goes black after the windows logo. I am running windows 10 and now I cannot access my pc even if I connect the vga cable to my motherboard and taking the card out. Plz help because I really want to use my pc and get all my data back.

Remove the card, reset the BIOS to defaults by unplugging system and removing the CMOS battery for 10 seconds. Try with onboard video again.

What card did you get and what is the brand and model of the power supply and motherboard?
