Question black screen and cpu light showing up on motherboard

Hi recently got a new motherboard and cpu (ryzen 3400G and MSI B450 Mortar Max mobo) and everything was fine till last night, but upon powering up my computer today it's stalling with a black screen and the cpu light is showing. I've taken the cpu out and checked for bent pins and reapplied thermal paste, reseated the ram sticks then tried to power up to no avail. Not sure what else I can do to pinpoint whats at issue.

no gpu.
