Black screen at boot up.

So I went to give my computer a fresh restart, every thing was working fine before and after I restarted it it just got stuck at the MSI motherboard screen forever. I've tried every suggestion I have found and now it is just stuck at a black screen. I am not able to enter bios, safe mode etc. I'm not an expert when it comes to computers so I'm just so lost in the dark right now if anyone can help me I would be so grateful, some of my specs are, windows 8.1, fx-6300, 750 TI, 8gb of ddr3, and a MSI MB. Sorry for the horrible typing I'm on my phone.

Try disconnecting the power maybe? Like actually unplug the cord from the PSU. Then after a couple seconds plug it back in. If that doesn't work, maybe take out the round battery on the motherboard for a couple seconds. If still a no go, maybe try moving the ram in different slots. I've had a black screen before when I had a FX-6350. My brother usually did those to solve my problems, they usually worked. So maybe give those a try.

I should also probably mention when I do boot up I get just a single short beep like I always have.
