Black screen at low brightness LG G2

I have an LG G2. When i change the brightness to 20% and below the screen goes completely black, I tried various custom roms with kernels , KK and LP stock roms still no luck. Can some one help me in fixing this issue?

try this :
1.under display settings there is a setting called as "Auto adjust screen tone" which is used to adjust brightness.
If this does not work
then you download an app Brightness Patcher to fix the issue .

As is turned out, the problem was with the display panel and not the software. Gave it for service
