Question Black screen, audio cuts out but PC still running ?

First of all sorry if this is the wrong place.

Every so often when playing game my screen will turn black, audio will cut out and my pc is still running, I have to force shut it down by holding the power to restart it. I only started having this problem once I bought a new graphics card.

OS = Windows 10 [added by moderator]
CPU = AMD Ryzen 7 1700 (Roughly 2 Years Old)
GPU = NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660ti (Few Months Old)
Motherboard = Gigabyte AX-370 Gaming K3
PSU = Ace ATX Power Supply 750 Watts (3+ Years Old Don't know the model)
RAM = Corshair Vengence DDR4 24 GB (1-2 Years Old)
