Hello, recently my laptop has been having issues with its graphics card. Whenever I use the program "EGVA Overclocking Utility" device manager switched over to the default graphics card (note my laptop has a nvidia 650m graphics card). Normally a quick restart is required and the problems sorts itself out.
Earlier today I reset my computer to solve the above issue but I was greeted with a matrix looking message saying "replacing invalid security ID with default ID XXXXXX" and went from 0 to nearly 600,000. After it ran my laptop restarted and booted to a black screen with a moveable cursor. I have searched all over and before I ask for a solution I have tried:
. Launching in safe mode, networking mode, and networking with cmd mode
. Launching in low resolution mode
. System repair and system restore from Windows Safe Mode
. Launching sticky keys prompt and task manager
I am just about to do a clean install of windows but I have not made a restore point and will have to completely reinstall windows and drivers and would like to see if any solution works before that!
