[SOLVED] Black Screen but PC and sounds are still on

Hey,

My pc suddenly goes into black screen but i keep sounds and pc is clearly still running. Only way to recover is restarting pc but it started to happen more often and black screened at start up.

What should i look for in event viewer? Log?

Windows 10/ msi gtx970

Try turning off fast startup https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html You should also check you monitor cable; if it replaceable try a new one and make sure it is securely plugged in.
