Black screen Computer crashing when playing games

When I try to launch a game I can get into the menu for about 15 seconds and then both monitors turn black. Sometimes I can still hear the game and my friends talking, sometimes all sound is gone. A few times I heard all the fans in my computer start spinning at 100%. The only thing I can do when this happens is turn off my PC.

What are your temps? Sounds like your GPU is kicking the bucket. What are your system specs? motherboard, processor, make and model of power supply unit.
