Corsair CX600W
MSI 970 Gaming Edition

I have been experiencing random black screen crashes, where the screen will go black with both the computer and monitor still turned on. All I can do is hit the reset button. It doesn't happen very often, maybe once or twice a day. Some examples below.
- The computer would be idle at the desktop and suddenly the screen goes black.
- While I'm browsing the internet.
- I would be watching a movie and the screen would go black with a buzzing sound from the speakers.
So far it has never happened while I'm playing a game, even a high demanding game like The Division. If it was the PSU or the GPU wouldn't the stress of a game cause it to happen? I've taken a few notes below.
- I have very few active processes.
- CoreTemp has my CPU at 50-60 degrees with a movie playing and internet browsers open.
- I have ran furmark and played numerous demanding games and it has not happened.
- I have ran sfc /scannow with no issues reported.
- Event viewer isn't showing anything. Just that the computer wasn't shut down properly.
- I have turned off the screensaver and idle functions In power options.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need to know more or want me to try something to narrow it down, please tell me.
