I've been having issues with reinstalling Windows 10 (detailed in this post http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-3395364/error-code-0x8007025d-installing-w10.html ) and I noticed that many people with that issue had to update their BIOS. I made a BIOS update usb off of my laptop and went into the BIOS to M-Flash and the update seemed to go alright.

It's been about 30 minutes and the screen has been black since the progress screen went away. The lights on my computer are still on and I'm not entirely sure what to do.

Here is my build: http://imgur.com/fBKq0g9 and I'm upgrading from the 1.7 version of my bios to the 1.8 from here. https://us.msi.com/Motherboard/support/B150I-GAMING-PRO-AC.html#!type=download

As of my experience, after a BIOS update, sometimes the graphics driver doesn't restart so it might be fine to restart the system. If something went wrong, it'll probably not make any difference.

There is a single red light on on the motherboard and the system fans are running. I'm getting no visual or anything though.

Can you find out what is that red light indicating?
Did you do the BIOS update without the windows environment?
Which update utility did you use to flash the BIOS?

I used nvflash to use my custom BIOS with my Strix 970 and it was in the windows environment.

And as said, if something has gone wrong, it won't matter if you restart or not.
Just restart the system or wait for a professional/experienced person to come up with a better answer here.

IF something has gone wrong, just download the older version of your card's BIOS which you updated and flash it again the exact same way, it should work.

I'm not sure if you saw my other post but right now neither of my hard drives have an OS on them and I already restarted it. I'm still getting no response and am working on the light right now.

Edit: I think it's the CPU light.
