Black screen during WIN7 installation on PC that has Win Xp

I am used to install win7 without any problems before . but today i am with my friend, hes has a PC (Packard Bell ) with win XP, but he wanted to install win7.. Till now we try to install win7 but we couldn't always we had black screen after the progress bar of win 7 installation after that i can't see any thing, just black screen with pointer ..
i tried to run windows in 640*480 and tried every thing i have found on internet ...........but we didn't find the solution for that
any one can help meeeeeeeeee ????

Yes, wait longer, the black screen may be while it installs video driver and I am sure that Packard Bell is SLOW.

I tried to wait, but i got he same result .
i don't have an internet connection if u mean by " installing video driver "" to download the driver from the internet !!!!
