black screen every once in a while?

im getting a black screen every once in a while. it only stays black for a second or so. my specs are ryzen 5 1600 overclocked to 3.85ghz 1.8v 32gb of rgb 3000mhz xpg ram 4x8gb sticks, msi gaming x gtx 1060 6gb video card, asrock fatal1ty ab350 gaming k4 motherboard. I have never got the black screen while gaming.

I have a AOC display that does that sometimes. It is the monitor that is the culprit in my case. Likewise, it never happens when gaming; just on 2D displays like the desktop and apps. Might be what is happening to you.

yes, and its a dell se2717h 27" ips monitor.

it happened one time while running cinebench I had to hit control alt delete to bring it back that time.

If the keyboard strokes can bring it back, then it's not the monitor. What gfx card and PSU do you have?

it cam back on both ways. anyways my video card is a msi gaming x gtx 1060 6gb and psu is a evga 650 watt 650 bq modular

I suspect the gfx card, but hard to say from afar. Is the system pretty clean as far as registry errors, software conflicts, etc?
Might give CCleaner a run just to eliminate that issue. Same with Malwarebytes and a virus scan.
But I suspect hardware.

cant see how its the video card when I play games under a heavy load hours at a time. also cinebench only did it one time.

I switch from headset to usb audio.

Maybe overclocking is not stable

temps are always very good, there is a new bios but mine was the newest till now, and overclock is stable.

don't know, it happens once in a while, so hard to tell. ill try to see and post a update.
