Hey guys, Randomly im getting black flickering on my main monitor of a dual monitor setup, When this happens its odd but there are some regular patterns.
Situatuion 1: Im in gmod and look at a black corner for a second screen goes completely black while my other screen stays normal, I have to look away or go to a light source to bring the monitor back.
2: Im watching the walking dead in fullscreen and it gets to the end credits where its just a full black screen with credits, Everytime it gets to the credits the entire monitor goes completely black until i force alt tab out of the video.
3: Im editing display settings and change the background to a full solid colour and the screen just goes completely black until i right click and drag, This dragging seems to bring the monitor back from darkness for a moment but only if i keep moving my mouse and moving the blue highlight area.
These black screens don't crash my pc, It runs smooth while this happens and after it fixes, Sounds still come through from a black screen.
This is really odd and only happens on one monitor : Asus ve248h
I need help! If you have any ideas please post below!
Windows 10 64bit
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 360
Edit1: Nothing happens at all when my screen is static and im doing nothing on it, No flickering or problems. Only encountering the issue with the 3 situations above.
IMPORTANT: I've realised that whenever i open or something pops up that is mostly black the screen goes fully black and everything is hidden until some form of light appears. EG: Me moving my mouse rapidly across the screen creates a white light and it reappaears.
What does this mean?

Solution
To fix this i opened my menu on my monitor and turned Asus' ASCR off and tested opening black boxes and black screens again and no more problem!
ASUS SMART CONTRAST RATIO was the problem TURN IT OFF!!!
