Black screen+ Freeze while exiting games

Hello,

Recently (last couple of weeks) sometimes when I exit a game, there's a Black screen+ Freeze.
Any reason? solution?

System is a legit Win10 pro

Hello cynicoren

You can try Defragmenting Your C: Drive, i.e. where Windows and games are installed.

If that doesn't help, you may want to use any free Windows optimization tool such as Ashampoo WinOptimizer or Ccleaner.

In case of SSD, you don't need to defragment it. You can check the reason here.

However, you can still use your preferred Windows optimization tool to manage Windows files and registry.

Tried it but it didn't help. It also happened when I changed resolution in a game. May it be the GPU driver?

I think it's related to W10 Anniversary update. I get the same problem and I changed my GPU and formatted system but...

Check your display adapter settings and make sure the refresh rate is set to 60hz instead of 59hz.
