Hello everyone,

I recently changed all my components and wanted to use my old components to build a second pc.
So i put all of the old components in a case and took on of my three HDD's from my main computer. I tried to boot it and it everything seemed to work fine but then i noticed that I didn't get any image...
Could the problem be that i am booting with a displayport? I already tried to reset Cmos and i don't think the problem could be my ram or my cpu because i left everything on the motherboard while transferring to the other case.

Specs of the old components in the new case:
CPU: Ryzen 3700x
Motherboard: gigabyte b550 gaming x
Ram: 16gb ddr4 3200hz G Skill
SSD/HDD: 1Tb Wd Blue
GPU: GTX 1070 Asus Strix
PSU: Antec 620W Modular ≈5 years old
Chassis: Unknown model
OS: Can't install an os because of the black screen
Monitor: Alienware aw2723df (Displayport)

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
^ since you did an upgrade, we'll be seeing two sets of specs, one for before and one for after. Include the age of the older platform's PSU apart from it's make and model. If the other system has a brand new PSU, no need to mention it's age, apart from it being stated as new.
